Enabling Third-Party Cookies
Learn how to enable third-party cookies to ensure our courses are not blocked
If in the address bar of your browser you see a cookie icon with a red X ,or an eye with a line through it (near the star icon), you may be blocking third-party cookies and site data, which blocks media from EVERFI courses. ![]()
Please follow the steps below to enable third-party cookies and site data.
Chrome:

On your computer, open Chrome.

In the menu, click Chrome > Preferences.

Under "Privacy and security", click Cookies and other site data.

Select "Allow all cookies"

Under "See all cookies and site data" click Add next to "Sites that can always use cookies"

Enter the web address.

To create an exception for an entire domain, insert [*.] before the domain name. For example, [*.]google.com will match drive.google.com and calendar.google.com.

You can also put an IP address or a web address that doesn't start with http://.

Select Add.

To remove an exception you don't want any more, to the right of the website, click the 3 dots, then select Remove.

Firefox:
- Click Standard to enable all cookies. Also review the instructions to check sites that are blocked from setting cookies.
Safari:
- In the top menu bar, click on Safari and select Preferences (or Settings on newer macOS versions).
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Ensure that both the "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" options are unchecked.
- Close the Preferences window to save your changes.
