How To Use Classroom Connect As A Sponsor

Classroom Connect makes it simple for Sponsors to receive and respond to teacher requests for guest speakers.

What You Can Do with Classroom Connect

  • Receive guest speaker requests from teachers using your sponsored curriculum

  • Target specific schools by location or income level

  • Assign a contact at your organization to manage requests

  • Coordinate visits with teachers and volunteers

  • Access volunteer resources via the Impact Hub

  • Track your impact with post-visit surveys

 Step-by-Step: How It Works

1. Guest Speaker Requests

Sponsors can request to enable a “Request a Guest Speaker” button on their sponsored curriculum. This appears on the teacher dashboard and curriculum cards. Please note this feature is only available at specific levels of Sponsorship.

💡 Teachers see this option when using your curriculum and can request a speaker with just a few clicks.

2. Set Your Preferences

Work with your Customer Success Manager to:

  • Target schools by state, zip code, or low-to-moderate income status

  • Designate a contact at your organization to receive and manage requests

3. Receive a Request

When a teacher submits a request, both the teacher and your designated contact receive an email with:

  • The topic the teacher selected

  • Up to three preferred dates and class periods

4. Respond to the Request

Your contact can:

  • Accept one of the proposed times

  • Suggest alternate dates

  • Decline the request

📨 The teacher is automatically notified of your response.

5. Access Visit Details

Once a visit is confirmed, your contact receives:

  • The teacher’s email address

  • A link to the Everfi Impact Hub

6. Prepare with the Impact Marketing Hub

The Impact Marketing Hub includes:

  • 30+ volunteer resources

  • Classroom activities

  • Best practices and tips

  • Games and interactive tools

🧰 These materials help your volunteers feel confident and prepared.

7. Coordinate the Visit

Your contact can now:

  • Reach out to the teacher

  • Confirm logistics

  • Assign an employee volunteer

8. Track Your Impact

After the visit:

  • Both the teacher and your contact receive a short survey

  • Data is collected on:

    • Number of visits

    • Volunteer hours

    • In-person learning time
