June Release Notes: 'Remind Me' Feature and Playlist Completion Certifications

The release includes key updates focused on learner engagement and content completion. Highlights include the launch of the new “Remind Me” feature, the activation of the certificate upon playlist completion functionality.
 

New Feature: Remind Me

A new “Remind Me” feature is now live on modules and playlists.

This learner-driven tool allows users to set email reminders to return and finish content they haven’t completed.

Learners can choose their own reminder window:
• Tomorrow
• Within the Next 3 Days
• Next Week

Guest learners can input their email address to receive reminders. Registered learners will see their email address pre-filled, with the option to update it.

Why it Matters

Interruptions are a natural part of the adult learning experience. The Remind Me feature helps users pick up where they left off.
 

New Feature: Certificate Button Now Live

A new Certificate Button is now active in applicable Achieve pathways.

  • This enables certificates upon playlist completion, supporting future campaigns and recognition-based re-engagement.

  • All playlists will have certificates turned on by default. Certificates are not currently customizable.

  • Data tracking will be introduced to evaluate adoption and user interest.

  • A minor visual spacing bug between buttons is known and will be addressed in a future update.

Why it Matters

Incentives with downloadable certificates are no longer needed to provide “proof of completion” for a playlist. You might consider creating custom playlists with instructions in the description for how to use the certificate.
