Just-In-Time User Provisioning
Foundry SSO supports optional Just-in-Time (JIT) User provisioning for organizations that require this functionality. JIT creates a user in Foundry during the single sign-on process if the user does not already exist. In other words, users are added just in time when they log in, rather than being created in advance.
JIT can be a convenient way to provision users in Foundry, but it is only appropriate in specific situations. How do you know if JIT is right for your organization?
- JIT must be enabled to create new users as they arrive.
- By default, JIT is disabled. If you believe your organization needs JIT, contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss enabling and configuring this feature.
