Registering for Events

Follow these steps for consumer event attendance.

As a consumer, if you find an event that you are interested in attending, then follow the instructions below. This information can be found on the Event Page URL that is unique per workshop. There are options to register for an event the day it occurs or to pre-register ahead of time for an event, if enabled.

 

Register for an Event the Day of

On the Event Page, you can find all the information you need for the workshop. As the time of the event approaches, you will need to return to this page to launch the workshop. Here you can see the name of the workshop, the date and time of the event, a description of what will be covered, and any partners the institution is working with to host this event.

When the event is about to start, select the Get Started button in the top right corner to launch the virtual event. If the event is occurring in-person, you can also find the venue address on this page with a link to Google Maps.

Additionally, under Multilingual Assistance, if other languages are available, they will be listed here. Selecting a different language will translate everything on this page.

1. Click Add to Calendar in the top right corner to add a reminder to your calendar (for Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook).
 
2. In any of the options, the calendar event is pre-populated with
  • Event Date and Time in the attendee’s local time zone
  • Event Title
  • Event Description
  • Event URL to return to on the day of the event
3. 10 minutes before the event, you will need to return to this URL to launch the workshop
 

 

 

Pre-Register for an Event

1. On the Event Page, you can find all the information you need for the workshop. On the day of the event, you will need to return to this page to launch the workshop. Here you can see the name of the workshop, the date and time of the event, a description of what will be covered, and any partners the institution is working with to host this event.

Additionally, under Multilingual Assistance, if other languages are available, they will be listed here. Selecting a different language will translate everything on this page.

2. Click Save My Seat in the top right corner to register for the event and complete the registration modal.
 
3. Registrants must fill out
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Consent if the financial institution can send you more information about specials or new products and services
4. Click Submit to complete the registration
 
5. The next modal to appear is the event confirmation. In the bottom right corner of this, there is the option to add the event to you calendar (Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook).

6. In any of the options, the calendar event is pre-populated with
  • Event Date and Time in the attendee’s local time zone
  • Event Title
  • Event Description
  • Event URL to return to on the day of the event
7. On the day of the event, you will need to return to this URL to launch the workshop

If you are interested in finding other workshops the financial institution is hosting, you can search at the bottom of any Event Page for topics you are interested in.
