Updating Your IDP Configuration

You can update your identity provider configuration by navigating to the identity provider configuration, editing the identity provider, updating any properties, and saving.

For example, you may wish to update your organization’s certificate, change just-in-time user provisioning settings, update support contacts, etc.

The edit identity provider page is similar to the add identity provider page, with the following key difference: when you add a new identity provider, Foundry automatically sets the EVERFI certificate and signing algorithm to the default values. If you are editing an identity provider where these values are not the latest, then you can change them to upgrade to latest version.

SAML Attribute Map

If you need to change a SAML attribute map, for instance if the name of the attribute is incorrect or you have renamed the attribute in your identity provider, follow these steps:

1. Edit the identity provider
2. Click Remove to remove the incorrect attribute map
3. In the SAML Attribute Map section, add the attribute back by selecting the Foundry property from the dropdown, typing in the corresponding SAML attribute name, and clicking Add
4. Click Save to save your changes

If you accidentally mixed up attributes, for instance assigning the first name to the last name and vice versa, first Remove both attributes, then add both attributes again correctly, then save the identity provider.
