Achieve & Achieve Connect: Platform Terminology Guide

Overview

This glossary defines key terms used across the Achieve and Achieve Connect platforms. Understanding these terms will help you navigate the Foundry platform, manage users, and deliver financial education effectively.

Platform Structure

Program
A collection of micro-learning content organized around a financial education theme. Programs contain multiple playlists, which in turn contain modules. You can view your organization’s programs in the Programs section of Foundry.

Playlist
A curated set of modules within a program. Examples include Preparing for Retirement, Owning a Home, and Small Business Essentials. Playlists typically contain 6–8 modules, each about 5 minutes long.

Module
A short learning unit within a playlist. Think of it as a chapter in a book. For example, 401(k) Plans and Individual Retirement Accounts are modules in the Preparing for Retirement playlist.

User Roles

Admin
Admins have the highest level of permissions. They are typically employees of the sponsoring financial institution and manage users, teams, and content. Admins can:

  • Create and assign playlists
  • View reports and engagement data
  • Manage advisor access (Achieve Connect only)

Advisor (Achieve Connect only)
Advisors are external partners who share educational content with their clients. They can:

  • Invite learners to view specific modules or playlists
  • Track learner engagement
  • Access advisor-specific reports like the Invitation Sent Report

Team (Achieve Connect only)
A team represents an advisor’s organization. Advisors are assigned to teams by admins. Teams help segment users and data, ensuring advisors only see information relevant to their group.

Certificates of Completion
Automatically generated for registered users who complete a playlist. These are not customizable and are not issued to unregistered users.

Multilingual Assistance
Admins can enable translated versions of registration pages and learning materials. Supported languages must be selected during event setup.

Social Sharing (Achieve Connect only)
Advisors can share playlists via social media using pre-configured messages. Admins may customize these messages to align with campaign goals.
